Pastor Jeff is the creator of "Better Husbands. Better Fathers", which is dedicated to defeating the myths to help men become better caregivers and providers. Pastor Jeff was born and raised in Tampa, FL. He is a licensed and ordained pastor who serves as the Director of Pastoral Care at his local church in Atlanta.

His professional roles include Radio and Tour DJ, college admissions recruiter, social studies teacher, basketball coach, curriculum coordinator, IT Director, assistant principal, and principal—to name a few. The personal ministry of Pastor Jeff and his wife Dr. LaDessa Mitchell aims to strengthen families through education. With this in mind, Pastor Jeff and Dr. Mitchell founded an education-focused nonprofit organization for youth. The Mitchells also manage an educational consulting company that starts and advances public charter schools and private schools. While education is his passion, Pastor Jeff has become an accomplished speaker with the ingenuity to inspire and motivate people of all ages through teaching and speaking.

Pastor Jeff is a proud graduate of Florida State University (Go Noles!), Nova Southeastern University, and is a self-proclaimed “techie.” When he is not preaching, speaking, coaching, or teaching, you can find him spending time with his wife or at least one of their four children, if not all.
